We seem to get this comparison any time the lab settings are shown. I guess it’s an impossible-to-escape comparison any time monsters are locked up, any more. 😐
I’m sorry, I really didn’t mean to cause offence. I just woke up and saw the new page and thought it looked a bit similar but instead of stopping and realising how insulting that is I went, “I’m going to immediately vocalise this thought.”
Sorry, again.
No offense taken, sorry if we worried you! Like I implied, it’s not a comment without precedent and it’s completely natural to draw similarities between things. Mostly, we just hated that season of Buffy (along with most people, it seems). XD
Probably especially when there’s a bunch of different kinds of monsters… Though I’d go more along the lines of “Cabin in the Woods”, another Whedon project 🙂 Very curious to see where this goes — having a bunch of supernatural creatures locked up like this seems… dangerous?
My thought was “Cabin in the Woods,” too — but I didn’t find it derivative, simply that the idea of a laboratory/prison/asylum for supernatural creatures is a well that a number of writers, artists, and filmmakers have drawn from, but that doesn’t mean that the well is anywhere near empty 🙂
I am so intrigued by this — and WHAT is Rose doing with that blood??!?
(Love how her outfit turned out, btw, especially having seen the design process on Patreon!)
I swear I’m getting completely over-excited by all of this now. I get a feeling that the whole plot is beginning to escalate and it’s making me fangirl out about it.
I have one question, do you draw from any particular mythology or style of fantasy-fiction? It may well be a coincidence, but I’m seeing lots of little details often found in Welsh/English/Irish folklore (the kind I’ve grown up surrounded by).
My first thought when seeing the rooms in the monitors was actually the asylum that we saw Arthur escape waaay back in the beginning! Probably not the same place though 🙂
Actually (though I’m having trouble finding white boots) if you have a fair chunk of money to shell out… http://www.womenheelshoes.com/32-boots
Christian Louboutin seems to be a (or the?) go-to for red undersoles.
The lab reminds me of the Initiative from Buffy. And we all know how well that turned out.

Didn’t we all hate it? anyways, the Initiative weren’t the only bunch of people with a laboratory containing poor inofensive monsters.
most of the demons were sorta pricks but otherwise ya the initiative were jerks

Can’t wait for more ♥ Completely in love with these comics.
Seems like someone in cell 15 is going to go berserk (like in cell 57 )
LIES! Dresses like that don’t have pockets.
I have a very similar dress, and it does indeed have pockets. They aren’t very practical pockets, not very big or deep, but they are there.
I recognize that outfit!
You guys are amazing. <3
Is that the Lukas character in Cell 34? The one that you drew in the seven deadly sins drawings you guys made.
Hmm, you make a convincing argument! 😉
Where can I find this ‘seven deadly sins’ drawing ?
On their DeviantArt page.
Say, is the guy in room 23 something to do with “Horns” from Daniel Radcliffe new movie?
Nope, we haven’t seen that yet. We heard it’s an odd, though pretty movie!
The guy in Cell 23 reminds me of Marko from SaGa…
Cell 34 looks awfully familiar. Has he appeared before?
Also, I want those boots. So, so much.
He hasn’t, but a relation might have. 😉 Good eye! And (K here) I also long for those boots. Damn that nonexistent design!

I’m so mad I started reading this comic, I read it all in one sitting at school and now I don’t know what to do with my life.
I would like to know more about octopus man in cell 34
I like the jag in the strip on her dress where it cross the fold. That’s the sort of detail I’m used to not seeing in comics.
