T0 he fair, he’s not the kind of person one would invite to a party… He has little wiggle room far as the supernatural go, either thinking they deserve to die, or there is something inherently fucked up with them, he’s frequently insanely violent and off his rocker, has… Wait have we ever seen him SMILE?!… I mean… He out right wishes one of the party goers dead and his own SISTER he thinks of as little better of then ALREADY THAT… The fact he’s obviously not really a party going type doesn’t help with all the shit he would bring… Though Raven would probably find it all hilarious.
Tristen, Raven, Mary, and Gaki ARE DEAD – vampires are not living/human. We saw Tristen drinking blood from the doctor’s arm, Raven’s past where he hit C.E. with his car and was turned then murdered his parents, Gaki picks up a monthly allowance of blood from the doc, and Mary was stabbed, bloodlet, and resurrected with Mr. Montgomery’s blood.
I’m pretty sure it wasn’t C.E. that he hit — if you look at the page, it says “He hit a vampire — a demon.” We never see the vampire’s face or form, other than a hand.
For whatever reason, the page where Fragile talks to Raven about his relationship with C.E was taken literally by so many people when she mentions maybe C.E didn’t see the evil behind Raven’s smile as mean she missed him HITTING hER WITH A CAR… No idea why… Metaphors aren’t that hard…
Metaphors in real life are easy, metaphors in comics are sneaky author hints. We’re playing the long game wherein newly turned vampires are in thrall to their creators – hence their sexual relationship. Maybe she just likes him though.
…. YES. BUT. Arthur. VIEWS. IT. AS. his. STILL. sister, who is still for all intents and purposes HIS SISTER despite the status as a vampire as being DEAD. As in the Tristan he cared about being DEAD, not just Undead. None of the times we’ve seen them interacting have been all that much fun…
He thinks being a demon or vampire is an abomination against nature deserving of death. Imagine your beloved twin sister, the only family you have left after burning your parents (and baby sibling) to death, got turned into… a giant cockroach. Would you still be cool with her??
Given its Arthur, and they all work for c.e., I imagine he has probably personally insulted each of them and pissed off no less than a few. He is “that guy”, the one too unpleasant to invite
I’d feel bad for Arthur not being invited to the party if it wasn’t for the fact that even by the standards of the supernatural community that he’s a part of, he’s batshit insane and violent. Most of these guys don’t appear to be the most mentally healthy individuals as it is, but putting Arthur into the mix would be like mixing gasoline and lit matches. Without CE keeping him in line, he’d probably try to kill most of the people in that room.
Maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t get all of the concern about Arthur being violent?? he’s attacked people that were attacking him and demons and people he was supposed to kill, but he’s never just gone violent on some random people. Even with Fragile’s group, he never killed anyone and he wasn’t planning on fighting just distracting with smoke bombs until they showed up with guns. He’s kind of crazy religious and outspoken so I can see why he wouldn’t get invited to any party. I just don’t think he’s violent at random.
Yeah I feel sorry for him but at the same time…he sees everyone in that room as a monster and he has a hard time keeping that to himself. He’s more than likely hurt every single person in that rooms feelings at some point.
So yes i feel sorry for him. We have all been left out of something. But I hope he realises that they aren’t being cruel. Theyre making sure everybody feels safe.
Think this is the first time we havent seen Jinx smile… does not bode well.
Also it seems Arthur is appearing more like a innocent kid than the initial insane, serious, and violent character we were introduced to.
You can’t act like an unsociable cunt 100% of the time and then expect to be invited to social gatherings.
From how he’s previously been written I wouldn’t expect him to enjoy the occasion or even turn up anyway. I get that we’re supposed to support the protagonist but no, I don’t feel any sympathy here sorry.
I love Arthur but you’re 100% right here XD I’m the kind of person who would still invite him just so he could say no just so he didn’t feel totally forgotten.
Poor Arthur! Although, I can definitely see why he wasn’t invited… Calling everybody a monster and being totally insane doesn’t really get you a lot of friends, not to mention the fact that at least half the people in that room aren’t straight, and I’m guessing that he has told them all how it’s a sin on multiple occasions. Despite all this though, I still just want to give him a hug! Those last three panels broke my heart.
Oh, Arthur! I just want to wrap him in a blanket and give him a hot cup of tea…
I’m sure that if you ask Gaki nicely, he can help you with that request.
But Arthur doesn´t like tea :/
Awww, did they not invite Arthur? :C

Oh, God, that’d be like The Metamorphosis with an extra side of drama (as if it weren’t angsty enough already).
… Thanks for… Nothing… This still stands up to my saying why Arthur would never be invited to this party…
True, but still. :c

Poor Arthur. 🙁
But even so, I don’t putting him in the same room as a bunch of supernatural entities would be a good idea.
“think”
I really need to read my comments more than once before posting… -_-

Yep. Sad but true.

He isn’t violent at random, but he’s pretty sadistic… He’s just a conservative, prejudiced, disturbed and sadistic young man for them :/ .

Wishing cute boy would accept feelings for cute boys.
The hope in his eyes when she opens the door and how it quickly drains away… So many FEELS!!! I just want to hug him and tell him it will all be okay.

“Wait here” means there’s at least one resident that would be pretty unhappy to see him.
When I say awkward yall say silence
Akward……
Akward…..
Poor Arthur, a misfit among the misfits.
