Haha, I thought the same thing, but apparently only been about a month in-story (I went back and checked).
Last time we saw Remi was when he and Arthur had that fight, which was also right before Mary “officially” joined up. Then in the chapter before this one, when Mary met Raven, C.E. told him that Mary had been with them for “nearly” a month. I think the rest of that chapter only took one night, and then there wasn’t a time skip between last chapter and this one, so…a month!
I think Remi just looks different because he hasn’t shown up in over a year and a half, in real world time, and the art style has changed a bit. (If you go find the last page Remi was on before this one, Arthur looked really different too. It’s just really obvious with Remi because we haven’t seen him in so long.)
Wait. Wait, wait, wait. Arthur blushes. How cute. I don’t know why he’s being so adorable for the last couple of pages. Maybe a dead witch or two somehow make him happier.
I don’t really feel like that’s a super adorable expression so much as a completely pained and awkward expression. They don’t exactly have the most carefree and cutesy relationship in the world.
aaahhh dam , I hate it when I get to read from the beggining and then come ot the last post.. now i have to wait! …lol was kinda hoping it would go for longer..( wasnt loking at dates in comments ) Oh well .. now I’ll have to ck n often!
I’ve been doing some thinking today, and I think Arthur’s whole “it’s a sin” routine is not the real reason why he can’t be involved with Remi (although I’m sure he believes it is). Arthur was abused by his father, and he burnt him alive in his house. The person who was supposed to love him unconditionally molested him, and Remi reacted with patricide. Deep down, he probably doesn’t think he can be loved. On top of that, torment is his normal; would he willingly welcome something nice, pleasant, and cozy? Dear Lord, never. Tormented people have a really hard time accepting that they can enjoy something good. So yeah, I think Remi is going to have to dig under that surface if he hopes to get anywhere with our favourite broken boy. 😉
oh my god just kiss already ffs
That doesn’t look like a very alive spider
Oh Arthur, you’re such a hopeless romantic.
But of course! Everybody brings their boyfriend dead spiders as a romantic gesture! It’s the hip thing to do.
To be fair, Remi kinda looks like a spider nut.
That is a very calm spider.
That’s because its dead.
He’s not dead, he’s restin’!
All right then, if he’s restin’, I’ll wake him up!
(shouting at the spider)
‘Ello, Mister Bitsy Spider! I’ve got a lovely fresh butterfly for you if you show…
Whoa. Remi’s grown up a lot since we last saw him. How long’s it been in the comic’s timeline?

Wow, talk about awkward
Awkaaaard.
Aww. These two are just adorable.
I swear, Arthur reminds me of 2D so much. But alright already, we get it — you can just smash your faces together now.
“Slim”? That’s a new one.
