And thank you, but absolutely no worries, these two pages were just for a (as you guessed it) dramatic start — we’ll have the usual many-paneled pages right up! <3
also why is this guy killing out of order? That guy who crashed the party had a 9 on him. It couldnt be a 6 as 6 was the guy who was strung up burnt to a crisp at the start.
Also, I’m a little confused about something. Didn’t Mary say the sixth victim was the one who was strung up near Fragile’s place? And if Alice is the seventh….who is the corpse that just fell in through the window?
Is there a mistake in the numbering or am I missing something?
Mr. Corpse-y has a subtle number ‘9’ on him, but you’re right! The numbers are very much not in order as far as the characters know, but that’s definitely not a mistake. 😉

“And today we um, have a new member… who says his hobbies are, ah, killing witches and sinners… Why don’t you introduce yourself?”
I looked up the rhyme. There’s several variations, but the one I found that matches up with this one says “Seven for a secret, not to be told” which fits Alice, as Gaki kept her a secret. It also says nine is for hell… so what happened to the guy who fell through the ceiling?
Oh my god you gave me a mini heart-attack when I thought they were in order and Gaki was making that face because he knew Alice was already dead. Then I was relieved. Now I’m very concerned again!
Stop making lovable characters, I can’t bare to lose any of themmmm X’D
Also! I just realised Gaki’s been keeping Alice a secret! So //total guess here// the person killing off these guys is a clairvoyant/psychcic/seer of sorts themselves, kind of self-hating. Maybe planning to kill themselves off last?
OR it’s one of the people they know! DUN DUN DUNNNNN
And now they go to Gaki’s place to find Alice partying with that UglyNailsGuy happilly, and everything is fine ever after, they live in love, peace and probable sanity, the end.
(sweet sweet dreams)
(heads to the Heartbreak corner just in case)
After re-ereading the last chapter, I realized the creepy nails guy might have drawn a 10 on the glass while he looked at Mary, whispering the final part of the nursery rhyme. So, Mary is probably gonna be No. 10 which she can’t see because she once said she can’t really see into her own future afai remember. What the rhyme means by “devil’s own sell”, I have no idea, especially not in context to Mary. Much excite. ^^
Poor Gaki!
Oooh, Alice! That curly redhead biter kid he secretly rescued. I thought something was up with her but didn’t know what only that she seemed… …off.
No!! Gah I hope they save her! I really like her AND I don’t want to see Gaki hurt anymore! Stop hurting my baby!!
Also, I love the intense and dramatic single panel pages, though I do miss getting more out of a page. I’m kinda torn lol
!!! Oh no!
And thank you, but absolutely no worries, these two pages were just for a (as you guessed it) dramatic start — we’ll have the usual many-paneled pages right up! <3
WHAT!?
Oh poor Gaki. He looks terrified for his little biter
No!
Imagine Gaki’s inferno of rage if Mr Missed Manicure succeeds. It sure will be a cold(er) day in hell.

Noooo, we got to see so little of Alice, we can´t lose her!
Wat.
Gakiiiii <3 ;O; I do not want to see what happens if this dude succeeds in hurting Alice.

Ah, cool. I was just about to ask this same question.
Well, Alice already died once….

Ooh, I didn’t think of number seven that way but that makes total sense!
I also thought that the guy who fell through was number six, but I realized that six is the swindler, “for gold”.
Guess I just didn’t realize that they’d be murdered out of order.
If you replaced his look of shock with anger, this would be the greatest metal album cover
Wait who the hell was Ali- oh god…. poor Gaki!! QUICK YOU MUST GO AND SAVE ALICE FOR GOD’S SAKE!
Oh my god you gave me a mini heart-attack when I thought they were in order and Gaki was making that face because he knew Alice was already dead. Then I was relieved. Now I’m very concerned again!

This. This comment right here. Also seriously, I was looking forward to more Alice so I REALLY hope she doesn’t die so soon!
So Alice was a biter…So… Is nine happening before seven because….
…..
…..
…..
……..seven eight nine?
*headsplode*
Gaki can’t catch a break, can he ? 😐
Huh I figured the dropped guy was either a red herring or the one keeping the place hidden…. Uh oh.
And now they go to Gaki’s place to find Alice partying with that UglyNailsGuy happilly, and everything is fine ever after, they live in love, peace and probable sanity, the end.

I think it’s more “the devil’s own sel'” , as in ‘self’- and didn’t creepy-fingers say something like that?
