Does Mary realize that she’s dead-ish, or is she just dead-pan? Gaki and Mary are my two favorite Find Chaos characters, but I don’t ship them. Poor Gaki: he really wants an ordinary life.
She probably doesn’t realize the extent to which she is dead-ish, but you hit the nail on the head with the dead-pan, at least around Gaki! Poor Gaki indeed. 🙁
Mmmm… Gaki. Me likey. He’s so much cuter when he’s all happy. I almost feel like it’s too early in the story to be picking favorites, but he and Fragile are neck-in-neck.
I went back through a reread this story…and I just wanna ask ._. is Mary…Arthur and Tristan’s sister? I noticed in one of the first few pages that it shows a picture of their family and I saw his mom holding a baby o.o what happened to it?
Mary isn’t any relation to Arthur/Tristan, that’s something I can definitely say! Unfortunately, the house fire consumed the entire family except for Arthur and Tristan.
I’m italian and I study English language at the University, I was wondering: does Gaki talk with some kind of specific accent ( if it is so, from what part of America/the world does he come from?) ? or is he just using slang?
Thanks in advance ^^
He does have an accent! Gaki is from London and has a “middle-lower-class” accent. Of course, it is littered with some regional slang, but I hope that clears things up a little!
So I suppose I’m a bit confused on Marys’ actions, in the earlier chapters though she was reserved in many ways she struck me as someone who would fondly agree to a chance to form a connection with someone. Not necessarily in the romantic sense but just for the sake of comfort and kinship. Due to the isolation and abandonment she no doubt experienced. Is her blatant disrespect and/or indifference towards Gaki built from a general distrust based on her past and being forced into this confusing new lifestyle or is it a result of that fact that she is no longer technically, alive? Or perhaps I’m just reading way too far into the situation?
I don’t think you’re reading too far, the story is structured for readers to make assumptions that may or may not be proven right! As far as her behavior seeming abnormal, a lot of her feelings will be clarified by the end of this chapter. 🙂
Aw I Love Gaki <3 I want to know why Mary is acting so strangely. She was much more outgoing previously and She did start whatevs with Gaki. I cannot wait to read more
Poor Gaki! He’s so . . . perky . . . about the idea of a date, and Mary seems totally distracted/dismissive. More to come — I’m sure, but oh, his face!
This … actually is one of the saddest pages I’ve read so far.
It’s sad because there’s so much going on (so much good that could come out of it and so much disappointment that actually did)
It’s an ordinary tragedy. And I dont’ know why, but it touches me to the core…
Maybe it’s because I can relate to that more easily than the horrible other sad stories…
Maybe it’s because A & K are amazing at what they do.
Or maybe I just really like Gaki too much.
He… eats …out?
VALENTINA that is an amazing comment.
Also, I really feel for him. He looks so genuinely excited.
That would be a great job on A.S.’s part.
(Look, your initials with a possessive have forced me to swear!)
Gaki both eats out and eats people out. 😉
Oh Gaki..
Look at him, though. He’s so…perky.
awww. Poor Gaki…

Aww, Gaki </3
He looks so happy in the fourth frame.
Nek minnit…
nooo poor Gaki 🙁 He’s my favourite character
How old are they? I thought mary was a bit too young for gaki in the first few chapters and then they did the do and idk anymore.
Mary is at least of legal consenting age, though that doesn’t account for how much older Gaki may be to her. “Too old” is relative, I guess!
The marks on his eyes… they dissapear after they have sex, i knew it!
It’s so weird to see Gaki without all that soot on his face and excited. He almost looks like a different person.

Aww, Gaki’s so sweet… And now Mary’s acting like Remi…
I totally ship Gaki/Mary. Like hardcore. I also ship Remi/Arthur. Loving this story so far!

Intimidating, and yet so adorable. I love Gaki, and I’m loving the comic.
Long time reader, first time commenter. Looking forward to seeing more!
Thank you! I’m sure it will come useful to me sometime! It’s always nice to combine business with pleasure 😀
Gaki! Aw! I wasn’t expecting to be affected by him so much, but I really feel for him. He cares.

Unkindness page two. Still no ravens. I am sad.
I think Gaki is my favorite. He’s definitely the most honest. And I can’t resist a guy with an accent <3

awwwwwwwwwwwww my Gaki babe )))))): She’s too mean, right? Come here, come here
Our probably hero everyone!!!
Nooo.. Don’t be a jerk to the Gaki :'( But then again with all the crap going on, I can’t say she doesn’t have a reason.
