Oh, yes… Yes You will. Mary is just in no mood for any evasion or obfuscation, so spill it, CE!
Have I mentioned that I don’t read, watch or listen to anything else in the horror genre? I mean, I don’t really hate horror. It’s just usually, predictable, tired, played… I dunno… blah. I’m sure it’s just me. Everything between Edgar Allen Poe and A&K isn’t worth the time. It’s like this: there is Strawberry Panic, and the rest of the yuri genre. No comparison. Yes, FindChaos is the Strawberry Panic of horror.
Remember, Mary was revived from being thoroughly and completely dead by a transfusion (administered beautifully, if not practically, by Riley bleeding directly into open incisions at her pulse points) of Riley’s Mysterious Blood. Hence, she is no longer fully human, but one of the gravely ungraved.
Hey! 🙂 Once again, totally loving FindChaos! Still, I’d like to ask another question:
It’s really remarkable how your style of drawing changed over the course of this comic. Was this a deliberate choice or did it happen naturally?
I suppose you could call it a little of both — deliberately tweaking my style based on what I’ve liked/disliked from past methods, but also evolving naturally as time progresses. Drawing comics full-time on top of additional art projects means I’ve been drawing approximately 500% more than ever before in the last year-and-a-half. As a result, I’ve gotten far more practiced and more certain of how I want things to look, but in a very narrow span of time, so the evolution is pretty noticeable, especially when one reads the comics from beginning to present.
Hey ! This is (first) to say that I really love your work : the story, the twists, the art, everything is beautifully and wonderfully tied together.
I especially appreciate the way the one of you who draws (I believe it’s Stiffler, isn’t it ?) makes the different kinds of faces. Too often do I see characters that are only differenciated by the hair and eye colour, and it’s a bit frustrating, but here… damn, those faces, have PERSONALITY and that’s great !
And the way the pannels are constructed is simply brilliant. (as I draw from time to times a comic as a hobby, I can see how much work and talent were required to come to those gorgeous plates)
I was also wondering about somtething weird. I’ve seen already twice Arthur biting someone’s head off … which, given the psychopath he is, isn’t that of a big deal, but something still bothers me in the art : his features are serene and his eyes closed as if he were in a kind of transe.
I was wondering if it was intentional, because it doesn’t really fit the mood of the scene (as he looks rabid on the other pannels)
But how could it be a mistake when I’ve seen how good you are at drawing emotions ? so I was really asking myself…
Anyway, it’s the 2nd time I’m reading it through and I still enjoy it immensely. I hope you’ll never give it up until the very last end.
Sincerely, a new fan of yours

Good question, and thank you!
