Page 10: The gun pulled from the desk is an M1911 pistol. It was actually a standard issue in many different wars, and packs quite a punch. The desk is an antique Rococo (18th century late baroque) that has probably been refinished to get rid of the once-gold accents, and blend in with the rest of the muted-color modern furnishings. Clearly this man has as much respect for historical accuracy as he does people.
